My name is Jazmine Saldivar, and I am a lifelong writer with a strong foundation in both the Humanities and Social Sciences. I earned a dual degree in Sociology and Political Science and a dual minor in art history and legal studies from the University of Oregon in 2023. Informally, I consider myself to be very knowledgeable in the realms surrounding Orange Tabby cats, Greek Mythology, Classical Russian Literature, and curating a visually stimulating Pinterest board. All of these make me very successful at writing about topics from existentialist philosophy to discussing upcoming fashion and media trends (looking at you, incoming Gothic-Medieval revival)!

My academic background illustrates my interest in how people connect, communicate, and build meaning through language. Professionally, I have worked as a copywriter, brand strategist, and analytics assistant at Passion Projects LLC, where I developed written content that aligns with brand identity and engages diverse audiences. Currently, I am doing freelance work, living in Northern California, but I am also working towards relocating! My work spans blog posts, strategic messaging, investigative journalism, email campaigns, and creative content, all with a focus on clarity, inclusion, and thoughtful storytelling.
